This conversation topic is rooted in the idea that as Columbus grows, we need to ensure that we’re investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs and engineers for the city’s thriving startup scene. A recent study indicates that today’s K-12 students are lacking the entrepreneurial mindset needed to adapt, disrupt and influence the world around them. If we want to continue to compete with Silicon Valley, we need progressive schools and universities that better prepare the next generation of 21-first century business owners and develop the top tech talent the Midwest startup scene craves.
