Dann Bruno is an associate at Ice Miller, where he focuses on private equity and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. Dann applies his scientific, business and legal background to assist high-growth companies (and investors) on issues ranging from day-to-day legal needs to closing complex transactions.

Dann previously worked at Rev1 Ventures where he evaluated and executed seed stage investment opportunities and assisted entrepreneurs building high-growth technology companies. Much of his work at Rev1 involved evaluating and spinning-out technologies developed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Ohio State University and OhioHealth.

Dann earned his bachelor’s in biology with a focus in anatomy and physiology from OSU in 2008 and his juris doctor from The University of Akron Law School in 2015. Before law school, Dann was an anatomy teaching assistant at The Ohio State University.

When he is not practicing law or spending time with his wife and pets, Dann can be found volunteering with the legal aid society’s Tenant Advocacy Project or participating in one of his many weekend-warrior interests, including basketball, golf, tennis, home-brewing and poker.
