As an entrepreneur, senior executive, strategic investor and advisor, Matt Armstead’s talents combine vision, business development and the ability to nurture a seedling of an idea into something tangible… a scalable business! Matt has led and been a mentor in various accelerators including 10X, Lumos, Fintech71, FintechAccel and Singularity University's Smart Cities Accelerator and Secure Erie Accelerator. Matt is a Partner at Horizon Two Labs, where he helps companies (big and small) develop their ideas into highly scalable businesses. He is a founding partner in Root Insurance and was previously the CEO and co-founder of Sprout It, a DIY gardening app which sold to Scotts Miracle Gro. Prior to that Matt successfully started and sold MobileWait, a guest management solution for restaurants, as the CEO and co-founder. In addition, Matt has been a Director at Fair Isaac and Experian with a focus on digital marketing, big data and predictive analytics, business development, and strategic partnerships.
