Paul Gu

Paul is a co-founder of Upstart. He built Upstart's original predictive models, and now leads the company's product and data science efforts. Paul dropped out of the economics and computer science program at Yale University after being selected for Peter Thiel's 20 under 20 fellowship. Paul built his first profitable trading algorithms while in college, and briefly worked in risk analysis at the D.E. Shaw Group.
